End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machine and is well known in the material handling business. These machinery have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent option for applications that require frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
Many companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished products on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The tines also have a hydraulic system which allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
