Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
During the year 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
