The S-boom telescopic booms made by Genie have been outfitted with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight places during construction and industrial jobs. They are also known for their ability to rapidly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide operators easy, quick positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes equipped with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific model could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were previously inaccessible by traditional jibs. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This specific feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform needs to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully raised at the same time. Both of these features of the Genie Fast Mast system lessens the time required for users to ascend and descend, increasing both production and efficiency.
