Sellick Forklifts New Brunswick
Following a long association with a Ford Tractor dealer, Walter Sellick started to build his very own company by modifying a tractor which was provided by Ford Tractor. He transformed it into a 6000 pound forklift that can be used outdoors. What is now regarded as the turn-around tractor series consists of a mast and a counterweight design and basic sub-frame.
Heavy duty lifts have changed in both their design and construction. An essential one piece frame idea was introduced to all models of Sellick forklifts since 1975. The basic Ford Tractor power train became retrained as the basic power module for the majority of models. The market was for Sellick straight mast rough terrain forklifts were well established. The state of the art technology along with the new design paved the way to hugely increased sales in the start of the 1980s.
A new part designed series was introduced in 1987. This series featured Ford, Perkins and Continental engine options and was equipped with shift-on-the-go transmissions. In addition, the low profile SG Series and the SD series together with the See Thru roller masts became available in the market. The introduction of the 12,000 pound SD Series in the latter part of the 1990s along with the optional fully automatic Power-shift transmission showcased the new millennium's technology.
The TMF-55 Truck Mounted Forklift was launched during 1995. This equipment features 5500 pound capacity. This specific model is powered by a choice of Deutz or Perkins diesel engine. This specific design really reduces turn-around time to a minimum and vastly maximizes the complete delivery system-trailer, truck and driver. The TMF-55 loads itself on the back of a truck or a trailer easily. This specific design eliminates the need for towing a trailer and saves huge cargo space.
Sellick Equipment Limited became the only distributer of the JCB Teletruck in North America in the year 2002. This variable reach industrial forklift helps to fill out the material handling products selection. It offers utmost versatility and a unique forward reach.
